Who's character do you have ?

I have been thinking a lot today about our world, and also what today as a Christian means.  When I write it comes from the heart and not just to have something to write about.  Anybody can click a few keys and have someone to read it, but if you really want to be heard you need to put some umph behind it.  When I was a kid, my parents let me choose my own friends, but they told me something very important that has always stuck with me... be careful who you hang around because even if you aren't participating in what they are doing you will be associated with their actions.  I may have strayed a time or two, but for the most part I have tried to live by this.  A few years ago my family went through something that upset us all, and when we talked about it the one thing I remember my daddy saying was don't strike back, maintain a Godly character.  That was very hard at the time, because one of my family members character was getting attacked.  When you feel like you or someone you love is being attacked, or your race is being attacked, or your beliefs are being attacked, it is easy to want to strike back.  The thing we have to ask ourselves is who's character do we have?  Are you going to have a character of someone that lashes out, or one that let's God take control and mend things.  From the moment lucifer was banished from heaven, hate has been on this earth.  Since the beginning of time everyone has always been placing blame and nobody wants to be accountable.  Here again who's character do you have?  I hope this has touched someone tonight.  See ya tomorrow....
