When the Adreiline is Gone

Hey guys i hope your summer is going good.  I have had a crazy summer so far and it is not over yet.  I have been seeing a lot of kids going to camp this summer.   As things have started to open back up from covid more people are being active again.   From church camps, to basketball, and football camps, Bible School.   All of these things get kids excited,  it's a lot of fun,  a lot of hype,  and a lot of adrenaline that goes along with these things.   Most camps, or Bible schools last about a week, then it's back to regular life.  The adrenaline wears off.  What do they do next,  or better yet what do we do next.   It is our jobs, as parents,  guardians,  friends, to keep things going.   If you are a youth pastor or a parent of a child that goes to church camp, whether they got saved or not, you need to disciple that kid, and make sure they don't fall back into their old ways and habits.  If you are a coach or a parent of a child that went to sports camp, check on them make sure they are practicing,  exercising,  keeping up their skills that they have learned.   When the adrenaline wears off the devil is going to be right there waiting for the weak spot,  it's our jobs to make sure there aren't any weak spots.   Remember to be safe and have fun!!! Love y'all    JPH
