At least you tried

 Hey everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well?  I know since Christmas my family has been hit hard with one sickness after another!  While I really don’t like to dwell on those kinds of things, I believe here again everything happens for a reason.  I know what some of you are already thinking…… what’s the reason for sickness?  I really wish I had a good answer for that, but I don’t.  I do know that we go through things in life that we question and we feel like most of the time we are all alone.  I’m so glad we are starting to get into the spring season.  I know that comes with pollen, allergies, and other problems, but my mom and I enjoy the longer daylight hours.  I have noticed that people are a little more active now and getting out a little more, which excites me, because I am a people person and I enjoy being around people.   The other day I was at work which has been such a blessing to switch from working third shift to working first shift…. But anyway I was at work, and I was making breakfast and I needed syrup for French toast sticks, I look there is none then I remembered someone had borrowed the syrup a couple of days before that and I told him to bring it back he said ok I will. Guess what? He didn’t bring it back.  I asked for help from another coworker to bring me the syrup that another person borrowed.  When this coworker came up she didn’t really have any syrup, but she did have some cream cheese for me to use with some fruit, but I didn’t have any fruit I had some yogurt to go with the French toast sticks.  We laughed and she said I am sorry I said no problem I really appreciate you at least trying. We laughed again and she well at least I tried to help you and I said yes that’s more than a lot of people would do.  So often we don’t think we can help people, because of not having enough money or anything, but a lot of times people just need to know at least we tried. The next time someone asks for your help think twice before you say no, maybe at least try and help them. Hope everyone has a great day and until next time! Love JPH
