The Legend in the Middle of My Storm

 I have been a sports fan all my life.  Most of you know that basketball is my favorite sport, and NC State is my favorite college team.  Some of you may know that Richard Petty is my favorite race car driver.  In saying all of that I have several favorite actors and actresses, and singers.  Recently I have seen a lot of posts on social media about famous people being legends.  Of course this got me to thinking why do we not see posts about Jesus being a legend?  One reason is I don’t think many people consider Him a legend nor that popular.  Many people are going through storms in their life right now, I have been going through a physical storm, with my knees and my husband’s recent health we have had to rely on THE LEGEND in our life.  It is one thing to say you are a Christian, but another to consider Jesus the Legend of the storm or storms of your life.  Jeremiah 29:11 talks about the plans God has for your life, one of peace and hope, and wellbeing.  I don’t know about you, but no famous athlete, singer, actor, or anyone else can give e that ,but Jesus.  I have to be really careful who I set up as important in my life, because it is really easy to have a Legend of this world become the Legend in your life. Give it some thought!
