A new different
I have been seeing and listening to different people over the last week or so, about this upcoming weekend. I'm going to be totally honest, I love traditions, especially holiday traditions. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter are my favorites and actually in that order. There are so many things going on right now that many people are not going to be able to do the "normal " traditional things that you usually do. The one thing that is not going to change is that Jesus was arrested, put on trial, beaten, and hung on a cross until he died, and then He rose again. I have been in church all my life and again I enjoy traditions, but I believe that I am more excited about this Easter than any other. The reason I say that is because no competition of who has the best Easter outfits, who had the biggest crowd, Easter egg hunt, or the best choir. I am looking forward to wearing nice every day clothes, and sharing the wonderful message with my family of what Jesus did for us. I challenge every family to make a new tradition of making this resurrection Sunday the most beautiful, sacred, fun, important day ever that will carry over into next week, next month, and even next year. Worship with your family without all the distractions, and for those of you that have lost loved ones and friends, call them on the phone and let them experience an Easter service like never before!!! Happy Resurrection!!! JPH
Beautiful Jen. This is an on time word.
