Giving honor

I'm truly sorry for not writing yesterday,  please forgive me.   Today I want to take a moment to honor a very special lady.  My grandmother 's birthday is tomorrow,  not really sure how old she would be if she was alive.  My granny Stephens was a very quiet woman until you made her mad, hurt one of her kids, or grand kids.   I remember as a kid playing with pots and pans and canned food like I had a store.  She used to let me stay up late, and drink juice or soft drink from a baby bottle long after I gave up the bottle.   I would help her make biscuits,  and she made the best homemade chocolate cake and icing you have ever tasted.   She would buy me my favorite cereal,  and we would have the best talks.  The thing I admire most about her is her love for God and her family.  She would always pray with me and enjoyed having her family around.   I just want to give honor to  her this weekend and say I love you granny. See you tomorrow! JPH
